SLACK Incorporated announces release of Healio.com news apps

THOROFARE, N.J. — SLACK Incorporated, publisher of Healio.com, has launched news apps in eight health care specialties compatible with iPhones and iPads. These apps will make it quicker and easier for health care professionals to receive relevant medical news and information pertinent to their field.

Each app offers exclusive features available on Healio.com. The apps deliver breaking news and top-trending stories, along with access to the video library and a wide-range of subspecialty topics for more focused learning. Also available are perspectives from key opinion leaders in their medical specialty and In the Journals, time-saving summaries of the most important research appearing in top peer-reviewed journals. Users have the ability to comment on articles, share them via email or social media, and save articles for offline reading.
