ORLANDO — In this Healio video perspective from the AAP National Conference & Exhibition, Matthew M. Davis, MD, MAPP, explains what he expects to see over the next 10 years in the field of pediatrics.

“In order to anticipate what pediatrics will look like 10 years from now, I think we have to take a look at what happened over the last 10 years in pediatrics,” said Davis, executive vice president, physician-in-chief and chief scientific officer for Nemours Children’s Health in Wilmington, Delaware.

He referenced the declining birth rate in the United States and the wave of pediatric subspecialists who are entering retirement.
