In this video, Jennifer Huang, MD, a pediatric dermatologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and associate professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School, describes a recent presentation she gave on the skin conditions that have manifested in patients with COVID-19.

In a virtual presentation during Pediatric Dermatology 2020: Best Practices and Innovations, Huang grouped the cutaneous manifestations of COVID-19 into vascular and inflammatory reactions.

“Essentially, the objectives of my talk were to describe the cutaneous manifestations that have been reported in association with this illness and to talk a little bit to pediatricians about how common these manifestations are in children and how sick children are if they do present with these manifestations,” Huang said.
