Infectious Diseases In Children Symposium to highlight advances in research, patient care

The Infectious Diseases in Children and Healio.com/Pediatrics team will present live coverage from the annual Infectious Diseases in Children Symposium, starting November 22.
The conference will highlight new research and advances in pediatric infectious diseases, including discussions on increasing vaccine uptake in practices, current global status of polio eradication, guidelines for management of bronchiolitis, updates to the 2015 Red Book, appropriate diagnosis and management of HIV infections among adolescents, treatment and prevention of skin and soft tissue infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and proper diagnosis and management of Lyme disease.

Kimberlin, MD, the Sergio Stagno Endowed Chair in Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and co-director of the division of pediatric infectious diseases at the University of Alabama at Birmingham said. “This meeting has been consistently rated one of the top meetings in pediatrics.
