KOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii, Julie Y. Bishop, MD, spoke about using a biceps tendon graft for anterior cable reconstruction in patients with irreparable rotator cuff tears.
“Of course you need an intact biceps to do this, but I think it is a technique that is value-based, it is easy [and] it is something that I think all surgeons could do,” Bishop said. “It can be a little daunting to consider [superior capsular reconstruction] or lower [trapezius] transfers.”
