Stryker announced a definitive agreement to acquire Vertos Medical Inc., a company that specializes in minimally invasive solutions for chronic lower back pain due to lumbar spinal stenosis, according to a press release.
“We are committed to helping customers restore patients’ quality of life with interventional solutions to address chronic pain,” Andy Pierce, group president of MedSurg and neurotechnology at Stryker, said in the release. “This acquisition strengthens our minimally invasive pain management portfolio with differentiated treatments and expands our reach across ASCs.”
