Bioventus Inc. has announced Robert Claypoole as its incoming president and CEO, effective Jan. 10, 2024, according to a press release.

Claypoole, who was also elected as a member of the board of directors, will succeed Anthony Bihl, who served as interim CEO and director of the board since April of 2023.

Claypoole has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the medical device industry. He most recently served as executive vice president of Mölnlycke Health Care AB and has held senior positions at Medtronic, Covidien and Johnson & Johnson.
