SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — In this video, Anthony A. Romeo, MD, recaps and discusses the hottest topics from the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Annual Meeting.
“[It was a] lovely facility for us to have an incredible exchange of ideas, interaction with industry as well as a nice community around us for the social events,” he said.
“The hot topics this year were of a variety of different areas. One of them that has come up over and over again is the biology of healing, whether it’s rotator cuff tendon or other parts around the shoulder and elbow,” Romeo said.
“There’s a lot of new ideas and new implants that are helping us in terms of getting that healing response even better,” he added.
The next American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Annual Meeting will be held in San Antonio from Oct. 16 to 19, 2024.
