Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia was named the top hospital for pediatric orthopedics in the 2023 to 2024 rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
According to a U.S. News & World Report press release, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia topped the 17th annual Best Children’s Hospitals rankings, which included 50 children’s orthopedic hospitals. Scores were based on the success of each hospital with treating complex fractures, scoliosis, spina bifida and sports injuries in pediatric patients.
Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Children’s Medical Center Dallas - Scottish Rite for Children and Boston Children’s Hospital rounded out the top five of the orthopedics rankings.
Cincinnati Children’s Hospital also claimed the top spot on the 2023 to z2024 Best Children’s Hospitals Honor Roll for being highly ranked in multiple specialties.
“Parents of sick children face many difficult challenges, including how to identify the best children’s hospital to treat their illness or condition,” Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News & World Report, said in the release. “The rankings, which are increasingly determined by objective measures of hospital quality, can help them make informed decisions.”
