Children’s Hospital Colorado has announced Klane K. White, MD, MSc, as the Rose Brown Endowed chair of the department of pediatric orthopedics, according to a press release.
White previously served as director of skeletal and health dysplasia, medical director of orthopedic research and professor of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital and the University of Washington. White, who specializes in pediatric conditions, such as mucopolysaccharidosis and skeletal dysplasia, will also serve as professor and vice chair of the department of orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
“We are deeply honored to have Dr. White join the Children’s Colorado Orthopaedic Institute,” Jena Hausmann, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital Colorado, said in the release. “He has a distinguished career in pediatric orthopedic surgery and will bring immense experience and leadership to this thriving service,” Hausmann said.
