KOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii, William R. Beach, MD, spoke about changes to evaluation and management coding and what qualifies for coding in 2023.
“If you evaluate, read and review an outside X-ray, MRI [or] CT scan, that does give you credit in the data section,” he said. “If you inject or write a prescription or plan to do surgery, that also qualifies in the risk section,” he added.
