ZimVie Inc. has announced the launch of the Virage navigation system, an occipital-cervico-thoracic fixation system, according to a company press release.

The Virage system allows surgeons to navigate bone preparation instrumentation and polyaxial screws in the spine, according to the release.

“The Virage navigation system plays a crucial role in ZimVie’s enabling technology strategy, rounding out our ability to navigate pedicle screws in the entire spine,” Rebecca Whitney, senior vice president and global spine president of ZimVie, said in the release. “Virage also allows us to compete with existing navigation-compatible systems,” Whitney added.
