MicroPort Navibot has announced FDA 510(k) clearance for its SkyWalker robotic-assisted platform, according to a company press release.
The company’s initial offering will be the SkyWalker total knee replacement platform, which is compatible with MicroPort’s Evolution medial-pivot total knee system. According to the release, the SkyWaker knee system utilizes a lightweight mechanical arm combined with intelligent planning and navigation for improved precision, accuracy and efficiency during surgery.
