VIDEO: Tips for managing patellofemoral dislocation, malalignment and cartilage injury
WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii, William R. Beach, MD, spoke about several topics encompassing the patellofemoral joint, including dislocation, cartilage procedures and malalignment.
“We talked about the appropriate indications for tibial tubercle osteotomy. Especially when you do those cartilage procedures, you need to make sure you have correct alignment, and you unload the patellofemoral joint,” he said. “We had a great time – a great session, and hopefully next year you can join us for another patellofemoral talk.”
