WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii, Daniel Scott Horowitz, MD, spoke about nonoperative treatment of proximal humerus fractures in older patients.

“Part of the things we discussed today in my presentation in particular focuses on, in general, the good and excellent results that come with closed treatment – nonoperative treatment – in the majority of geriatric proximal humerus fractures,” he said. “That’s important for us to remember, realize and apply to our practice as traumatologists and community orthopedic surgeons.”
