WAIKOLOA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2022, Charles A. Bush-Joseph, MD, spoke on the operative approach for young patients with ligament injury, graft choice and rehabilitation for return to sport.

“In the young patient – even the adolescent and pre-adolescent – we are being more aggressive surgically,” he said. “Whether you choose an intra-articular, all-epiphyseal or an extra-articular approach, we do think that these patients should be treated operatively as opposed to delayed or observation until skeletal maturing.”
