VIDEO: The time is now to establish an outpatient total shoulder arthroplasty program
TAMPA, Fla. — In this video from the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Annual Meeting, Anthony A. Romeo, MD, spoke on the popularity of total shoulder arthroplasty performed at ASCs and gave tips for a successful outpatient TSA program.
“Shoulder arthroplasty will be an important part of ambulatory surgery centers in the near future,” Romeo said. “In fact, at least 50% of all shoulder arthroplasty is a good candidate for the environment in the ASC,” he added.
