WAILEA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2021, Ronald A. Navarro, MD, FAAOS, FAOA, spoke about the effectiveness and compensation of orthopedic telehealth appointments.

“There is going to be some component of telemedicine that is here to stay,” he said. “We have been finding that potentially the [preoperative] visit may be something that can be feathered in. [Postoperative] care can be feathered in.”
