Paragon 28 Inc. has announced the acquisition of product lines and assets of Additive Orthopaedics, according to a press release.

Included in the acquisition is the complete foot and ankle portfolio of Additive Orthopaedics, which involves a 3D-printed, patient-specific talus spacer and surgical planning application, according to the release.

“The addition of the Additive Orthopaedics product portfolio and surgical planning capabilities provides Paragon 28 customers exclusive access to the only FDA-approved patient-specific total talus replacement implant,” Albert DaCosta, co-founder and CEO of Paragon 28, said in the release. “The Additive acquisition also significantly accelerates the company’s strategy to leverage smart tools, artificial intelligence and advanced technology to improve patient outcomes.”
