WAILEA, Hawaii — In this video from Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2021, Jack M. Bert, MD, spoke about meniscectomy and meniscus repair.

“The meniscus should be salvaged whenever possible. Even if you have a displaced bucket handle tear that doesn’t look very good at the time you are doing the surgery, remember that the more meniscus you remove, the greater the change of osteoarthritis,” he said.
