Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company announces new chief operating officer
Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company has announced Osmel “Ozzie” Delgado, MBA, as its chief operating officer, according to a press release.
Delago, who had served as chief operating officer for Cleveland Clinic Florida since 2014, will be tasked with improving operational efficiencies and overseeing a process redesign for nationwide musculoskeletal care, according to the release.
“Ozzie is a natural leader and an incredible addition to our team,” David J. Jacofsky, MD, chair and CEO of Healthcare Outcomes Performance Company (HOPCo), said in the release. “With a growing list of [payer], health system and physician practice joint ventures to drive market transformation, his experience in creating high-performing, highly integrated, operational infrastructure is exactly what we were looking for in this role,” Jacofsky said.
“During my time at Cleveland Clinic Florida, one of my major roles was to effect change that led to value creation, both for our patients and health system,” Delago said in the release. “Over the last several years, HOPCo has proven that they are clearly leading the change to value-based care in the musculoskeletal space. With the growth HOPCo has experienced in the last few years and their trajectory for the future, I am excited to help implement operational optimizations to further align stakeholders,” he added.
