Arthrex launches first FDA-cleared repair kit specifically for ACL tears
Arthrex has announced the launch of the SwiveLock ACL repair kit, the first FDA-cleared repair kit designed specifically for ACL tears, according to a press release.
The repair kit utilizes anchors, sutures and ligament augmentation to provide a less invasive treatment and quicker recovery, according to the release.
“Arthrex is defining the future for ACL treatment as the first orthopedic company to develop and market a kit specifically for ACL repair,” Reinhold Schmieding, president and founder of Arthrex, said in the release. “This is a significant achievement in orthopedic surgery and another testament to Arthrex’s continuous innovation and dedication to its mission of helping surgeons treat their patients better,” he added.
