Rothman Orthopaedic Institute names managing director, chief of central Florida expansion

Daryl C. Osbahr, MD, has been named managing director and chief of orthopedic surgery for Rothman Orthopaedic Institute’s central Florida expansion – Rothman Florida, according to a press release.
A practicing adult and pediatric sports medicine surgeon, Osbahr completed his residency at Hospital for Special Surgery and his fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute, where he studied under James R. Andrews, MD.
Osbahr has held various roles in professional and Olympic sports, including co-chief medical officer for USA Baseball and network team physician for U.S. Soccer.
He also served as the chair of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Stop Sports Injuries Committee, as president of Florida Alliance for Sports Medicine and as executive committee member for the Professional Soccer Physicians Society.
