Zimmer Biomet releases new features for mymobility with Apple Watch
Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. has announced new features to mymobility with Apple Watch, a remote care management system, according to a company press release.
The newest mymobility system features the addition of gait quality metrics, which reportedly allow health care professionals to compare patient progress and improve the standard of care. The system will provide patients with a customizable approach to their joint replacement experience, according to the release.
“Digital transformation of care has been central to Zimmer Biomet’s ongoing evolution and growth prior to the COVID-19 pandemic and is even more important now,” Bryan Hanson, president and CEO of Zimmer Biomet, said in the release. “Through mymobility with Apple Watch, we are providing new and effective ways to optimize the patient experience and mitigate patient issues, without requiring additional in-office visits.”
