Rothman Orthopaedics makes strategic leadership changes for New York market

Rothman Orthopaedic Institute has announced changes to strategic leadership in the New York region to enhance standing and drive growth in the market, according to a company press release.

Leadership will be split into two positions, with Michael L. Smith, MD, now serving as the Rothman Board of Council Administrator for the New York region and Eric L. Grossman, MD, now serving as the director of Health System Relations in the region.

“We felt it was important to split our previous leadership position in New York into two roles given the amount of work both entail,” Alexander R. Vaccaro, MD, PhD, MBA, president of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, said in the release. “We’ve continued to grow in the New York market and feel that these two outstanding physicians put us in a strong position to exponentially improve operations and relationships in the area.”
