Orthofix names new president of global spine business

Orthofix Medical Inc. announced Kevin Kenny as the new president of the Orthofix Global Spine business to lead global spine implants, motion preservation, bone growth therapies and biologics businesses.

“Kevin is uniquely qualified to take on this role given his prior leadership experience in the spine and medical service business,” Jon Serbousek, Orthofix president and CEO said in a company press release. “I look forward to the strategic guidance and expertise he will bring to our organization.”

Kenny was previously vice president of U.S. sales for Medtronic Spine and Biologics, vice president of sales for Bausch and Lomb and held various sales leadership roles with B. Braun/McGaw. Recently, Kenny had the role as chief operating officer for Cardiovascular Systems Incorporated, where he took charge of business strategies to develop and commercialize new products worldwide.

“I am honored and excited to take on this leadership role with Orthofix Spine,” Kenny said in the release. “I look forward to working with the spine team to grow our global footprint and partner with our customers to ensure that our products and services meet their needs.”

Kenny currently serves on the board of directors for the Medical Device Manufacturers Association. His role as president of the Orthofix Global Spine business will begin effective immediately.
