EFORT will hold a guest symposium in collaboration with the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery during the European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery on Sunday 5 May at 16:00 CT.
The annual European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ECTES) takes place 5 to 8 May in Prague. The EFORT symposium entitled “Implant-related Infection” is organized by the Trauma Education Group of EFORT.
Lectures during the symposium cover some of the following topics:
- diagnostics and definition of implant-related infection;
- maintenance of hardware – Yes or no?;
- infected non-union – What to do?; and
- local and/or systemic antibiotic treatment.
