LAS VEGAS — At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Joseph D. Zuckerman, MD, discussed the low dislocation rate at an average follow-up of 5 years with the Equinoxe Reverse Shoulder (Exactech), which has a medial glenoid center of rotation and a lateralized humeral component.

Results were similar between patients who did not have the subscapularis repaired at the end of the surgery and those patients who did, he said, noting whether the subscapularis tendon was repaired had little, if any, significant impact on overall outcomes.
