The Hip Society, The Knee Society appoint new executive committee for CCJR
The Hip Society and The Knee Society have announced the appointment of the Current Concepts in Joint Replacement program’s new executive committee, which is effective immediately.
According to a press release, Daniel J. Berry, MD, will be senior director. Adolph V. Lombardi Jr., MD, and William J. Maloney III, MD, are to serve as the deputy directors. In the next 16 months, the executive committee will partner with A. Seth Greenwald, DPhil(Oxon), and his staff from the Current Concept Institute to have a full transition of leadership by July 1, 2020.
“Our plan for expansion of educational offerings has become a reality with the acquisition of CCJR,” Douglas E. Padgett, MD, president of The Hip Society, said in the release. “Critical to its success will be this executive team with the vision and commitment to this new venture. In Dan Berry, Adolph Lombardi and Bill Maloney, we have assembled an executive committee with the experience and a track record of success in delivering the best in knowledge transfer. We are excited and confident of this opportunity.”
