Rothman Orthopaedic Institute announced the opening of its new office in Tarrytown, New York.

According to a press release, it is Rothman’s first office in New York state to offer a wide range of orthopedic subspecialty care and services. The office features 12 exam rooms and onsite X-ray.

“This is a big first step out of our traditional geographic footprint,” Alexander R. Vaccaro, MD, PhD, MBA, president of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute, said in the release. “Rothman’s expansion from a regional orthopedic practice to a national one will rely on our integration into major metropolitan suburbs, like Westchester County. We have always believed in bringing care to the communities where the patients are, and this office is a perfect example of that model.”

The Tarrytown office will see patients who have problems related to the spine, tendons, muscles, bones and joints. Experts will provide care in areas including shoulder and elbow, spine, sports medicine, foot and ankle, and hand and wrist.
