Within the close partnership of EFORT with ESTES, which is the European Society for Trauma and Emergency Surgery, on Sunday 6 May at 8:30 a.m. EFORT will hold a guest symposium at the European Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ECTES), which is being held 6-8 May 2018 in Valencia, Spain. The symposium — Proximal Femur Fractures – Still a problem? — was organized by the Trauma Education Group of EFORT.
Lectures during the symposium cover such topics as:
- What is proven in hip fracture treatment?
- Fractures around the hip and anticoagulation medication – What to do?
- Failed osteosynthesis of intertrochanteric fractures – Revision osteosynthesis or replacement?
- Implant-related fractures of the femur.
