NEW ORLEANS At the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Annual Meeting, Thomas J. Errico, MD, said use of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) analogues in posterior spinal fusion correlated with reduced postoperative pain and opioid use in children and adolescents.
