NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — At the Interdisciplinary Conference on Orthopedic Value-Based Care, Ronald A. Navarro, MD, discussed the Kaiser Permanente joint arthroplasty enhanced or home recovery model, which starts in the preoperative setting and assesses factors that gain patients the right to be discharged home earlier than would be the case with normal recovery.
