NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — At the Interdisciplinary Conference on Orthopedic Value-Based Care, Linda A. Russell, MD, said it is important for physicians to be transparent with patients with regard to appropriate and possible VTE prophylaxis after total joint reconstruction.
