KOLOA, Hawaii – At Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2018, Nicholas A. Sgaglione, MD, discussed if age matters in meniscal pathology.
“What we have learned is that age is not a factor in the success of meniscal repair. Meniscal repair can work in older patients if tissue viability, patient indication and the ability to counsel the patient appropriately about outcome all fit,” he said.
