Michael D. McKee

The CORE Institute announced that fellowship-trained and board-certified surgeon, Michael D. McKee, MD, has joined the Orthopedic and Spine Institute in downtown Phoenix, according to a press release.

“Dr. McKee is world-renowned surgeon who has received numerous awards and distinctions for his research in orthopedic trauma, and we are excited he has chosen to join our team at The CORE Institute,” David J. Jacofsky, MD, chairman and chief executive officer of The CORE Institute, said in the release. “Dr. McKee is a valuable addition to our trauma team and academic program at the Orthopedic and Spine Institute.”

McKee has been a guest speaker at various universities and teaches orthopedic trauma courses nationally and internationally. He has been a surgeon at St. Michael’s Hospital and a professor of surgery at the University of Toronto in Canada. He is a member of the American Orthopedic Association, AO International and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.
