ORLANDO, Fla. — Jeffrey C. Wang, MD, at the North American Spine Society Annual Meeting, said there are many reasons for low back pain, not every patient requires surgery and patients can be treated nonoperatively. He said to individualize each patient treated for low back pain, not group them in the same category as other patients experiencing low back pain.
