ORLANDO, Fla. — At the North American Spine Society, Wellington K. Hsu MD, said both local and intravenous steroids significantly reduced dysphagia and dysphonia following anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF). He said that when investigators compared mild dysphagia with severe dysphagia, local steroids significantly reduced severe dysphagia.
