TORONTO — At the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine Annual Meeting, David Dejour, MD, recommended the use of slice CT or MRI imaging to diagnose trochlear dysplasia. He said treatment options to treat trochlear dysplasia include trochleoplasty in combination with medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction. Dejour said trochlear dysplasia should not be missed because it is a key factor in knee instability.
