OrthoArizona orthopedic surgeon recognized as a Phoenix Business Journal physician of the year

Brad Bruns, MD, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon from OrthoArizona, was named as part of The Phoenix Business Journal’s 2017 Healthcare Heroes. The ranking recognizes 25 Phoenix health care professionals, according to a press release.
“We congratulate Dr. Bruns on this outstanding and well-deserved accolade,” John Kinna, OrthoArizona chief executive officer, said in the release. “While he is certainly considered a hero by the patients he serves, it is gratifying to see our colleague be recognized publicly for his expertise, compassion and efforts to bring quality orthopedic care to all.”
Bruns was recognized as a winner in the Healthcare Hero “physician” category for providing expertise orthopedic care in the region and donating time and care to less fortunate patients.
Bruns specializes in total joint replacement, trauma and sports medicine. For more than 20 years, he has been a member of the OrthoArizona board of directors. He has been recognized as one of the “top docs” in the region for more than 10 years.
