At the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Congress in Shanghai, China, Freddie H. Fu, MD, DSc(Hon), DPs(Hon), received the Chinese Sports Medicine Outstanding Contribution Award. Fu, who is chairman of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and an Orthopedics Today Editorial Board member, is the first-ever recipient of the award.
