Main Line Health, Jefferson Health, Rothman Institute, NueHealth partner for ownership of surgical hospital

Main Line Health and Jefferson Health have partnered with Rothman Institute and NueHealth in the ownership of the Physicians Care Surgical Hospital in Royersford, Pa., according to a recent press release.

According to the release, the short-stay surgical hospital has 12 inpatient beds and five ORs. Under the agreement, the organizations have partnered to continue to provide enhanced access to specialty surgical services, which include orthopedic care and pain management among others.

“This agreement with our longtime partners, Jefferson Health, Rothman Institute and NueHealth will further enhance the level of specialized care provided at Physicians Care Surgical Hospital and will offer patients access to some of the leading surgical service providers in the region,” Jack Lynch, president and chief executive officer of Main Line Health, said in the release. “This opportunity aligns with our strategic plan to not only provide a superior experience for patients, physicians, employees and partners, but to invest in assets that advance the health and wellness of the communities we serve.”
