Stryker Corporation announced 95% of additional registered eligible patients have enrolled in a Stryker Orthopaedics settlement program.

This was done under a master settlement agreement, which was announced in December 2016, according to a company release.

Stryker Orthopaedics informed the New Jersey Multicounty and Federal Multidistrict litigations of the added enrollment of patients who underwent revision of a Rejuvenate Modular-Neck hip system and/or the ABG II Modular-Neck hip stem before Dec. 19, 2016. This settlement program is an extension of the 2014 settlement program that covered patients who had revision prior to Nov. 3, 2014.

According to the release, most payments under the settlement agreement are expected to be made by the end of 2017.
