PixarBio Corporation announced it has named its vice president of regulatory affairs Steve Chartier as its new chief operating officer, according to a company press release.

“Steven has been a constant contributor to PixarBio’s success in 2016, and in 2017 he will set the stage for our clinical studies in 2018,” Frank Reynolds, PixarBio chief executive officer, said in the release.

According to the release, Chartier will oversee clinical studies, chemistry, manufacturing and control, and regulatory affairs. He reportedly has more than 20 years of experience in the development of regulatory and clinical programs that have led to more than 25 regulatory submissions and approvals.
