Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. announced Robert D. Delp will join the executive leadership team of the company as president of its Americas region. Effective Jan. 23, Delp will replace Stuart G. Kleopfer, who has decided to retire from the position.

With 20 years of sales leadership experience, Delp previously served as vice president of U.S. sales for Zimmer Biomet and led sales for the knee, hip, bone cement, biologics, extremities, sports medicine, foot and ankle, surgical and trauma categories, according to a company press release.

“I would like to thank Stuart for his significant contributions to the company and congratulate Rob on his new leadership appointment,” David Dvorak, president and chief executive officer of Zimmer Biomet, said in the release. “Rob is a strategic and customer-focused executive, and he is the right leader to continue to grow Zimmer Biomet’s Americas region in the future.”
