Integrated Endoscopy appoints new chief medical officer, chairman of surgeon advisory board

Integrated Endoscopy Inc. has appointed David Bailie, MD, founder and president of the Arizona Institute for Sports, Knees and Shoulder, as the chief medical officer and chairman of the surgeon advisory board, according to recent press release.

Bailie reportedly has over 27 years of orthopedic surgery experience. He has assisted in the development of orthopedic implants and devices for leading medical companies. Also, he was reportedly an orthopedic consultant and team physician for professional sport teams, the PGA Tour, U.S. Women’s Gymnastics team, university sports programs and high school sports programs. 

According to the release, he has co-authored over 30 clinical articles and has lectured at various conferences, hospitals and schools.

“We are pleased that David Bailie is joining Integrated Endoscopy’s team of established and highly accomplished business and clinical leaders,” Brad Sharp, chief executive officer of Integrated Endoscopy, said in the release. “Dr. Bailie’s extraordinary medical expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we work to educate the marketplace about our next-generation single-use arthroscope portfolio and other advanced technologies that will lead to a paradigm shift in the way ORs operate.”
