LAHAINA, Hawaii — Mohamed G. Morsy, MD, associate professor of orthopedic surgery at El-Hadara Orthopaedic and Traumatology University Hospital, Alexandria University, Egypt, spoke about results of his study on arthroscopic remplissage. He found arthroscopic Bankart repair with a remplissage technique offered satisfactory results and can be considered an effective, safe and reliable procedure for the treatment of glenohumeral instability in cases with large and medial Hill-Sachs defects.

Morsy’s study was the Abstract Presentation winner at Orthopedics Today Hawaii 2017.
