Italian orthopedic manufacturer Lima Corporate recently announced it was awarded three new ratings from the Orthopaedic Data Evaluation Panel for its hip implants.

According to a company press release, the updated Orthopaedic Data Evaluation Panel (ODEP) ratings were awarded to the Delta PF Primary Uncemented Acetabular Cup, which received a 10A ODEP rating; the Modulus Complex Primary Femoral Stem, which received a 10A ODEP rating; and the H-MAX S Primary Uncemented Femoral Stem, which received a 5A ODEP rating.

ODEP is a U.K. organization that monitors National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidance for primary and resurfacing hip prostheses and provides assessments of hip components against NICE guidance, according to information on the ODEP site. ODEP ratings are also commonly used benchmarks globally.
