Spinal Elements expands its sales team

Spinal Elements announced the expansion of its sales team with the addition of Steve Haayen, who will be the area vice president of sales in the Western United States.
According to a company press release, Haayen previously worked for Stryker Spine, Globus Medical, Lanx and Biomet, and has more than 10 years of experience in management and sales of spine devices. He also has experience with minimally invasive and lateral access spine systems.
“We are fortunate to have someone with Steve’s depth of knowledge in the space of our new expanding technologies,” Paul Cory, vice president of sales at Spinal Elements, said in the release. “Steve’s business acumen, procedural and industry knowledge will help us continue the strong sales growth we have seen in 2016.”
