In this video from Open Operating Theatre, Hossein Mehdian, MD, of Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham University Hospital, United Kingdom, treats an 18-month-old patient with early-onset idiopathic scoliosis with a growing rod construct.

Mehdian reduced the long thoracic 56° curve with a T10 apex using a four-rod construct.

The video is a teaching tool to help surgeons prepare for surgery, or they can use it as refresher on the surgical technique and indications for this surgery.
